Mixed Bag

Why does it normally happen that when I want to write most, I realise it is not 'appropriate' to do so? Mostly these cases are when I want to criticize something severely.

Somebody said to be that I hardly ever am my fun loving and giggly personality in the office. Duh! Is it not how it is supposed to be??

Or am I losing myself and a chance of being my age as the responsibilities and expectations to conform are enormous??

Normally I am not the kind of a person to conform to the expectations but here I understand that it is required to be done. (or is it not???)

My sheer presence is scandalising enough!! If I start being 'me', then ya sure!!! That should be fun!!!

what do u mean by 'being my age'?

is there any criteria to identify one's age by the way he or she behaves?

dont judge it from the people you are surrounded with...Chekhov died when he was 32...Van Gogh at 38...
Mozart at 36...many more...

Yes there are others who lived long life...and achieved greater heights...

but the point here is...How much time in a day one lives the same life? ... that ratio is directly proportional to the passion he or she has!

and passion never lets the monotony sip in...so living one life is never boring...its being honest...its being candid with one self...its being in love with the love itself!

one has to play different roles at times...its a choice...but yes...its inevitable in most of the cases...but playing different roles has got nothing to do with living ONE LIFE!...

is it so hard to be one self and yet be responsible?...no...rather its opposite...by not being one self responsibility of your own happiness, joy and peace is denied!

INTENTION is what matters...!

if being you is going to be scandalizing then either you need to change yourself or you need to change your profession...
but no way suppressing your real self is going to help in long term!

or its just a speculation...?

no harm in trying out... you might get better results rather than creating havoc!...

being yourself is the coolest thing...!

Hey Ads,

Who cares. We are like that only!! Even if you were your bubbly cheerful self, there would be others who would have things to say about that.. Bottom line, people say things, either which way you are.. so chillax..:)

Kedar: I am neither chekov, Van Gogh nor Mozart. And those million other glorious people.
I am me and therefore am pleagued with questions. I know it is coolest to be me. But there is a distance between the cup and lips and sometimes that distance seems lightyears long..

Ketaki: Yeah I agree! Most of the time that is the attitude with which we carry ourselves, isn't it? But sometimes you really do sit back and wonder...

Gayatri: I think I don't care and keep telling myself so!!!
I can hardly inspire you to script your thoughts more often! I hardly am a regular myself!!

I KNOW !!!!!!
If you (read: ME) are responsible, people at work call you 'boring'. They don't seem to understand the difference between boring and sincere. Nor the difference between sincere and serious.
And don't you need to be different at work and at home? I don't mean to say that have personalities poles apart...but one needs to be a little different..surely??
