An abrupt stream of thought

It was someday in recent past, when I was somewhere, thinking of something, that I wrote out the following... Just random thoughts I don't want to lose after crumpling the paper that I have written them on...

'From where emerges the sheer inability of expression? What is more important - being yourself or being prudent? Because if you have the guts to admit, you might not be the most prudent afterall.

Is it advantageous to understand one's follies or is ignorance simply a bliss? Because when you understand your follies, you also understand, you might not be able to correct them and that puts serious limitations on your perceived abilities and consequently your dreams.'

Excellent stuff, I guess its wiser to understand your follies, its even more wiser to accept them, all follies need not be corrected right?, whats wrong with living with them.
Just a thought :)

True..but the positive side exists too- you might be able to correct ur follies and realise your dreams :)
and at least you know you have tried, rather than just ignored the follies..

# Being your self is a wise thing to do… being prudent is a smart thing to do… wise is smarter than Smart!

# Understanding one’s follies, is always advantageous… knowing our limitations makes the whole day to day life work easy… and easier the work, more one excels…

# And if one is able to notice his own follies and hence the illusion of perceived abilities is breaking then it only leads to stress less life style… one can feel more relaxed because he can do wonders now knowing his own limitations in his field of expertise and at the same time he would gain the courage to let go of his earlier dreams and new dreams will naturally take place of earlier ones…

# leading a passionate life creates harmonious conducive ambience around one self… so the situation itself becomes prudent to let the passionate person be himself…

Now a passionate person moves faster in INNER world rather than OUTER (materialistic) world… so even if one notices his own follies his inner urge to EXPRESS himself is so powerful that nature interferes and allows him or guides him or shows him the ways to overcome the follies.

This path appears very hard for others but for the passionate person he is always at peace because he is doing what his inner voice is telling him…

And in this path, journey is more important than a destination… one realizes that there is no destination and the journey continues…

# the most important thing to understand is that when a person sets a goal in front of him, what exactly is he doing? What does that mean?

In the materialistic world we can define GOALS… I want to become this…I want to become that… I want people to look at me and think like this… house, cars, gadgets, clothes, ornaments, everything that comes under sophistication, every thing that makes us more POWERFUL!... GOALS can be these…

There are other kinds of GOLAS… like charity, social work, betterment of the society, well being of family, more generous GOALS…

Then there are Creative Goals- of scientists and artists’.

But in all these GOALS one thing is common and that is EGO!...

What exactly is happening?

In GOALS where one is thriving hard to achieve materialistic elements of sophistication, wealth, and one is actually trying to appear richer, more beautiful, healthier, and more powerful than others surrounding him…

In charitable Goals, (these are more subtle forms of Ego) one is indirectly satisfying Ego by helping others…

In creative goals, (these are even more subtle forms of Ego) one is consciously trying to get away from Ego by expressing inner anguish… but EGO is still there!...

And when any GOAL which leads to ACTION whose base is EGO leads to sorrow, misery, sadness… why? Because all these GOALS are nothing but DESIRES… and one desire gets fulfilled, other takes its place…

# Now it is very important to understand the DUAL nature of life…

Personal and Social… here even family is a Social life… the person and his INNER journey is a personal life…

Once this is understood then one can understand that the Goals one has set in his Professional life are nothing but materialistic goals and fulfilling them would only lead to more sophistication or more power…

Then is it bad to have these Goals? ……………..NO………………..

The most important thing is AWARENSSS !... Awareness of Dual nature of life… AWARENSS of illusion!...

And then one can enter the fight and struggle of day to day life with more courage and clear vision… then one gets frustrated, one feels sad, one feels betrayed, one feels pain, one feels joy, one feels happy…one faces all the emotions…BUT he faces them OBJECTIEVLY!...

So again… PASSION is the key!... AWARENESS is a STATE to be in …. Life is an illusion…a beautiful war front!...

Go get it babe… Dream even higher and make your self more scared of your self… but be OBJECTIVE always!...

Take care…tata…kedar(screen writer)
